why this drawing
Gaza is a strip of land about 365 square kilometres in area and 41 kilometres long, six to twelve kilometres wide [1]. Before the war it held some 2.2–2.3 million people, about seventy per cent of them registered refugees of 1948, on one of the most densely populated pieces of ground on earth [2]. Since June 2007 it has been under a land, sea and air closure — nineteen years in 2026 [1].
The numbers that change daily do not go on cloth. The Ministry of Health's count of the dead is on our history page, attributed and dated; it is not on a sleeve.
What is on the sleeve is the name: three letters and four dots, under four centimetres wide, written in the everyday hand. The final letter is tāʾ marbūṭa, ة, with its two dots — that is the design; with a plain hāʾ it would be a different word. A small Latin gloss sits beside it. Place and name, nothing more: the safest and most dignified device we have, and the smallest.
how it's made
Sleeve-only T-shirt: Stanley/Stella Creator 2.0 (STTU169), 180 g/m², medium fit — a GOTS-certified organic cotton blank by Stanley/Stella, colour Natural Raw. Printed in the EU by DTG with one water-based ink, #4b463f, at 100 %: never black, never a tint. As an add-on it goes on the left sleeve of the garment you choose, 4 cm above the hem, reading shoulder to cuff. No right-sleeve version: Arabic is never mirrored.

Sleeve-only T-shirt, €38: For every T-shirt sold, FREE PALESTINE MEDIA S.R.L. gives €5 to a medical charity working in Gaza and the West Bank — named here once the written agreement is signed. The €5 is given by us from our own revenue; it is not a payment by you to the charity and is not tax-deductible for you. Transfers are made monthly and published on the ledger. As a +€4 add-on, the garment it sits on carries its own €5 or €10; the add-on adds nothing on top.
